Wreaths Across America Photos

The Texas State Cemetery hosted the first Wreaths Across America wreath laying ceremony at the Cemetery on Saturday. Governor Greg Abbott spoke and presented the first wreaths on the graves of several Medal of Honor Recipients. Representatives from all seven branches of the United States Armed Forces presented special wreaths for their service branches as well. Texas State Cemetery Committee Chairman Benjamin M. Hanson welcomed volunteers and dignitaries. The Cemetery Committee wishes to thank all volunteers for their efforts.
