| ADAMS, GEORGE T. (1834~1893) George T. Adams, Confederate Veteran, was born in Washington, D. C. in 1834. During the Civil War, he was apart of Company A of the 9th Missouri Cavalry. After the War, in 1885, he immigrated to Texas, where he settled in Houston and was a bookkeeper. On March 20, 1893, he moved into the Confederate Men's Home in Austin, where he lived almost three months before he passed away on June 15, 1893.
