WOODS, FRANK L. (1845~1941) Frank L. Woods was born August 20, 1845 in Harris County, Texas to Saul Woods of New York, and Mary Lowry Woods of Delaware.

After moving to Texas and while living in Houston, Woods enlisted in the Confederate Army and was mustered into Company B, Bates Regiment, Magruder's Brigade, Trans Mississippi Army.

After the war, Woods worked as a lumberman in Houston. When he was no longer able to care for himself, Woods was admitted to the Confederate Men's Home on May 2, 1927. While in the Home, Woods lived another fourteen years. He died April 26, 1941.
