HARRELL, ALBERT BOYCE (1947~1947) Albert Boyce Harrell, son of Mason Douglas and Dorothy Elizabeth Gledhill Harrell, was born at Fort William McKinley in the Philippines, on May 21, 1947, while his father was serving in the Air Force. Sadly, Albert died only a few hours after his birth and was buried at the Clark Air Base Cemetery in Angeles City.

Harrell's father, Mason, who served in the Texas House of Representatives and who was eligible for burial in the Texas State Cemetery, sought permission to have his son buried alongside him and his wife in Austin.

40 years after his death, the Texas Legislature passed House Concurrent Resolution 172, which allowed Albert to be buried in the State Cemetery. He was laid to rest on July 30, 1987.
