SINGLETARY, EUDORA H. (1859 ~ 1948). Confederate widow Eudora H. Singletary was born on January 28, 1859 in Edwards, Mississippi to William Hamberlin and Mary McAlpin both of Mississippi.

She married Confederate veteran Isaac Newton Singletary of Georgia on April 9, 1905. They were married in Smith County, Texas. Isaac Singletary served in a Georgia Artillery unit, though which specific unit he served in is unknown.

Isaac Singletary died on January 29, 1923 in Anderson County, Texas. The couple most likely lived in Palestine Texas for a number of years before Isaac Singletary died.

Eudora Singletary entered the Confederate Home on June 29, 1948 from Bowie, Texas. She died on September 15, 1948 and was buried at the Texas State Cemetery. She listed two nieces, a Mrs. Albert McGee and a Miss Ethel Havenkottte as contacts on her records.
