HENRY, ANNA LOGAN (1879~1956) Annar Logan Henry was born on February 9, 1879 in Texas. Her parents were T. F. Hill of Mississippi and Nannie Logan of Witherow, Mississippi. She married J. S. Henry who served from Georgia in Co. D, 9th Georgia Infantry, H, 7th Regiment, Georgia State Troops. He was discharged on February 4, 1864 at Rogerville, Tennessee. Anna and her husband J. S. Henry did not have any children. Anna traveled from Beaumont, Texas to Austin and entered the Confederate Women's Home on May 13, 1949. She died on November 8, 1956 at the age of 77 years and 9 months. (State Cemetery File Information)" |
