TULL, CHARLOTTE RUTH DORSEY (1935~) Charlotte Ruth Dorsey Tull was born in Tyler, Texas on November 14, 1935 to Cornell Truitt and Ruby Parker Dorsey. Upon graduation from high school, Mrs. Tull attended the University of North Texas where she received both a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and Piano, and a Master of Music in Piano Performance and Music Theory.

While at the University of North Texas, the future Mrs. Tull met and later married fellow student, Fisher Aubrey Tull. In 1957, both became music professors at Sam Houston State University. Mrs. Tull taught Piano. After retiring from the University, Mrs. Tull taught piano in a private studio.

Mrs. Tull was also the church organist for forty years at Saint Stephen's Episcopal Church in Huntsville, Texas.
