TIMBERLAKE, GEORGIA ANN (1935 ~ 2015). The following is an obituary for Georgia Ann Timberlake, spouse of Lewis Timberlake. The obituary was provided by Cook Walden Funeral Home.

Georgia Ann Timberlake, age 79, passed away on July 7, 2015. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, and neighbor.

She lived in Austin for over 50 years and leaves behind a grateful family, a host of friends, and sweet memories too numerous to count.

Married to her late husband, Lewis, for 58 years she is survived by Brad Timberlake and Terri Clodfelter and their spouses, Judy and Terry. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lauren Urban, Brandon Timberlake, Jeff, and Emily Clodfelter, Andrew Haggard and their spouses, John Paul, Emily, and Kristin. Finally – and probably most importantly – she is survived by three great-grandchildren, Brady Timberlake, Jack Urban, and Elizabeth Haggard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis, and her son, Craig.

She cared deeply about leaving both a spiritual and social legacy and was a founding (and active) member of Austin Baptist Church, a 7th Grade Sunday School teacher for over 20 years, Mom-to-Mom Bible Study Leader, a docent at the Governor's Mansion for many years, and a committed volunteer to Seton, the Angel House Soup Kitchen, Thrift Shop, and the Assistance League.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six o'clock until eight o'clock in the evening, on Friday, the 10th of July 2015, at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas 78752.

Memorial Services will be conducted at four o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 11th of July 2015, at Austin Baptist Church, 7016 Ribelin Ranch Drive, Austin, Texas 78750.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Austin Baptist Church at the address shown above.
