LESUEUR, MEAD (1845~1909). Confederate veteran Mead Lesueur was born in Georgia in 1845. During the Civil War he served in Company A, 30th Georgia Infantry, Lawton's Brigade.

LeSueur moved to Texas in 1886 and lived in Chatfield, Navarro County. He not married and was a farmer before he was admitted to the Confederate Men's Home on October 4, 1904, where he died February 12, 1909.

He was buried at the Texas State Cemetery a short time later.
